IPRO Proposal Process System
Designed while working for IPRO (Interprofessional Projects Program) at the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT)
Visit system (requires registration)
View User Guide
The IPRO Proposal Process is an online system that the Interprofessional Program at IIT implemented in order to automate the proposal process for new IPRO courses. The target audience for using this system are IIT affiliates (faculty, staff and students). It allows users to login, create, save and edit proposal as well as track the status of the submitted entry. The system also gives users an opportunity to view the proposals submitted by others. The committe review (which is another level pf access) then reviews all the submitted proposals and votes through the system. After the voting is done, proposals with highest scores make it to the IPRO course listings.
The goals for the front-end of this project were to:
- match the overall layout to other IPRO systems
- use university colors (red, grey, black)
- make it easy to use
Skills/technology used in this creation:
- usability concepts (flow of information)
- Photoshop (logo, header)
- CSS (layout, style)
I also developed a user guide for this system. Read more about it in the Instructional Documentation section.
